Thorough Investigation and Assessment

Upon investigation, EC Foundations may recommend an exploratory hole. This allows us to properly assess the problem, as not all deficiencies can be seen from the surface.

Exploratory Hole

During an exploratory hole, we excavate an area near the deficiency to expose the foundation wall down to the base of the footing. The Structural and Geotechnical Engineers will then conduct a professional evaluation. Once their report is completed, EC Foundations will meet with you to discuss the findings and the best method of repair. These reports provide the information needed to accurately determine the scope of work and provide an accurate cost estimate, helping to eliminate additional costs and unexpected surprises throughout the project.
