Block foundation walls differ dramatically from solid foundation walls and require a different course of action in order to be effectively repaired.
Block foundation walls have hollow cores and mortar joints, making them susceptible to movement, cracking, and water infiltration. When the structural integrity of a block foundation wall becomes compromised, it must be stabilized to prevent any further damage.
At EC Foundations, we utilize an engineer-approved method using reinforcing steel rods and a special design of concrete that allows it to flow evenly throughout all blocks. This method will ensure that the wall is solidified and structurally sound. To complete the job, the walls are then waterproofed.
